These data supported the development of clay, silt, and sand content maps in Collection 2 of the MapBiomas Soil project (beta version). Each record includes spatial coordinates, the midpoint depth of the soil layer, and additive log-ratios—log(clay/sand) and log(silt/sand)—for the 0–30 cm soil layer.</abstract><abstract date="2024-12-06">&lt;b>Detailed description&lt;/b>: Soil data were collected from 262 studies published in the Brazilian soil data repository SoilData (&lt;a href=\"https://soildata.mapbiomas.org\">https://soildata.mapbiomas.org&lt;/a>). After analysis, a total of 182 studies was selected for the spatial modeling of soil particle size distribution (clay, silt, and sand). These studies represent 11,633 points distributed across Brazil, totaling 19,965 soil layers up to 40 cm in depth. For each layer, the percentage proportions of clay, silt, and sand were transformed into additive log-ratios—log(clay/sand) and log(silt/sand)—a mathematical representation that enhances the stability of the modeling process.&lt;br/>&lt;br/>The dataset includes the following columns:&lt;ul>&lt;li>&lt;b>point_id:&lt;/b> An alphanumeric code that identifies the source dataset ("ctb" followed by four numbers, such as ctb0003) and the ID of the soil profile, observation, or sampling point (event) in that dataset.&lt;/li>&lt;li>&lt;b>latitude and longitude:&lt;/b> Decimal geographic coordinates in the WGS84 coordinate reference system (EPSG:4326).&lt;/li>&lt;li>&lt;b>depth:&lt;/b> The midpoint depth of the soil layer sampled in the field.&lt;/li>&lt;li>&lt;b>log_clay_sand and
