It was utilized to train regression models for mapping soil organic carbon stock (0–30 cm) across Brazil. This data underpinned the creation of annual (baseline) maps of soil organic carbon stocks for Collection 3 of the MapBiomas Soil project, covering the period 1985–2024 (beta version). Each record includes spatial coordinates, the year of soil collection, the lower limit of the soil layer, and the cumulative soil organic carbon stock (grams per square meter) measured down to that layer.</description></descriptions><geoLocations/></resource>
