The measurement of carbon stocks in the Avoided Conversion Cerrado REDD Program assess three carbon pools: above-ground biomass, below-ground biomass and, soil organic carbon (SOC). Three variables were used to estimate the soil carbon content: bulk density, organic carbon content and soil depth. The samples were collected by digging until 30 cm of soil at the stipulated points, and the samples were sent to a specialized laboratory for analysis of the main components. For each sampling point, the corresponding carbon stock was calculated using the equation from Veldkamp, 1994."],"keywords":["Ciências Agrárias","Ciências da Terra e do meio ambiente","Soil carbon stock","REDD+ Project","VCS Standard","Cerrado biome"],"citation":[{"@type":"CreativeWork","text":"This dataset are part of studies on the Avoided Conversion Cerrado Program.","@id":"https://registry.verra.org/app/projectDetail/VCS/2465","identifier":"https://registry.verra.org/app/projectDetail/VCS/2465"}],"license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0","includedInDataCatalog":{"@type":"DataCatalog","name":"SoilData","url":"http://soildata.mapbiomas.org"},"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"SoilData"},"provider":{"@type":"Organization","name":"SoilData"},"spatialCoverage":["Niquelândia, Goiás, Brasil"],"distribution":[{"@type":"DataDownload","name":"Estoque carbono Niquelândia GO.xlsx","fileFormat":"application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet","contentSize":85262}]}
